I thought you would want to hear about my night since it was heavenly. I had
spoken to Harry online about 2 months ago. So I made a sign that said "I'm
CONNICKFAN@aol.com." When Harry saw it after about 2-3 songs he looked at me
and said "Is that you?" When I answered yes, he came over to shake my hand.
Everyone around me was totally envious. I turned my sign over and asked him
if I could have his shirt. He told me that he needed it and went on playing.
The show rocked! When the band was leaving the stage, Jonathan walked over
to me and gave me his guitar pick. When they came back for the encore, the
band came out and started playing, but there was no Harry. He came out a few
minutes later. He has changed his shirt and walked over to me and gave me
the shirt that he had played in all night. I was totally floored. After the
show, my friend and I went to the stage door to wait for him. There were
about 50 people waiting, and the security guard said Harry would come out to
sign autographs but only 1 per person. When I got to the front of the line
he said "So you are CONNICKFAN?" He shook my hand again and signed the shirt
he had given me. He said that the girl next to me really wanted the shirt
and was upset because she didn't get it. He said that he wanted me to have it.
My friend had him sign a CD jacket for one of my imports from France. I was
in the front row and could not have been any closer unless I was on stage.
Harry really went out of his way to make my night special. Thats just the
kind of guy he is.
