Harry is very nice and will sign autographs after the show if you're
willing to wait (I figure there were about 50-60 people waiting in line
on Friday night, which seems like a pretty small number to me) but NO
PHOTOS.
The security folks said if anyone was seen even attempting to take a
picture, that he wouldn't sign anything. Someone in front of me in line
asked him really nicely (Minnesota nicely) if he would change his mind
(something to do with a bet) and he said he can't. He didn't explain the
why behind it, but I figure that the explosion of photo manipulation and
internet "photo lies" probably has something to do with it.
It was a great show (like a fine wine, he keeps getting better with age)
and Harry has a fantastic rapport with the audience. Too bad it was
wasted (in my opinion). I have lived in Minnesota for 5 years and have
been to a variety of concerts here. Without fail, the audiences have
seemed deader than doornails, merely applauding politely, until it comes
time for an encore...then just because they bought a ticket, the
audience will stand up and demand that the artist owes them that extra
bit of show. Which shouldn't be how it works, but who says life is fair?
Not gonna go into great deatil about the rest as I'm sure someone else
will be doing that better than I can, but I just wanted to get that
information in, if possible.
Long live King Harry!
