Who will play Sinatra in upcoming movie? Monday, 1 June 2009 at 6:06 PM
According to several sources, Martin Scorsese is in the process of casting a movie about the life of Frank Sinatra. According to the Chicago Sun-Times:
Scorsese favorite Leonardo DiCaprio is keen to play Ol' Blue Eyes, as is Sinatra-esque crooner Harry Connick Jr. -- as well as Justin Timberlake, who long has told people he thinks Sinatra's style epitomized the ultimate when it came to coolness.
As you might expect, you can find a lively debate on this topic happening over in the forum.
In the meantime, go cast a vote for Harry! You never know what Scorsese might be reading...

New Music?
How soon will we get new music from Harry? Rumors and tidbits have been showing up on the web.
The Grammy-winning guitarist had just returned to Nashville from Los Angeles, where he contributed to a new recording by pop-and-jazz singer Harry Connick Jr.
Also, in an article about music mogul Clive Davis from Feb. 4, 2009, mentioned in Clive's upcoming projects:
And in no hurry to quit. Davis, 76, co-produced Kelly Clarkson's upcoming album and is co-producing a new Leona Lewis album with Simon Cowell. He's also working on discs by Rod Stewart and Carlos Santana and preparing to collaborate with Harry Connick Jr.
How soon we'll hear anything is yet to be known, but check back often for new information!!

Enjoy this highly amusing video from a concert in Manila where Harry eats a balut on stage.
For those who don't know, a balut is a fertilized duck (or chicken) egg with a nearly-developed embryo inside that is boiled and eaten in the shell. More info via wikipedia.
